It is essential
for us to keep a record of the society membership and their
details. There will be from time to time mail to be sent such
as notifications of forthcoming events, the AGM, membership
acknowledgements and requests, in fact all manner of things.
As the membership continues to grow we will produce our own
'Society Newsletter' which will have to be sent and we will
need to keep track of our membership status. We also have an
obligation to our members to make sure that potential members
fulfill the required criteria, that they are who they say they
are and that they are no younger than the minimum age for
membership which is 18. and for many other reasons, but all
information is confidential and will not be passed on to any
third party. |
