Based in Scotland, the Harden Society's primary purpose is to bring together all with the surname "Harden"
and its derivatives from all over the world into one great worldwide family, in the same way as a Scottish Highland Clan or Lowland Border Family.
In Scotland, the Ancient lands of
Harden are in the Scottish Borders
and are about two miles west of Hawick (pronounced "hoyk").
It is hoped that the Harden Society will inspire Hardens from
around the world no matter what their social standing, to
participate in the growth and
development of the society and
it's activities here in Scotland, the UK, the USA and all
other countries wherever a Harden may live.
Membership of the Society is open to all of the name Harden and
most of its derivatives and as we are new,
membership is FREE.
So if your name is Harden, Harding, Hardern, Hardun, etc!
